Crystal Haynes brings you the beat of the community on The Electric Drum every Saturday morning.No stranger to the mic...she joined NewsChannel 8 in July, 2007 as a general assignment reporter, but calls Springfield Massachusetts home.She worked at the ABC affiliate, ABC40 for two years before joining the NewsChannel 8 news team. There she filled many roles, but took the reins as an education reporter early on in her tenure there.Excited to be working in the Nutmeg State, Crystal, is settling in the New Haven area.Her favorite part of the move so far -- the great people she meets everyday.
